Moffatt Township offers rubbish drop-off on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, from 9:00 AM to Noon, only! Rubbish may not be dropped off at any other time.
Drop off is located at the garage next to the old Moffatt Township Hall on Newberry Street in Alger (just east of M-76).
Only plastic trash bags are accepted!
$1.00 fee will be assessed for each garbage bag dropped off at the center
$2.00 fee for large garbage bags over 13 gallons
$3.00 fee for x-large leaf bags
Note: Sorry, due to cost factors, we no longer provide twice monthly recycling services throughout the year!
Spring Clean-up!
This year’s clean-up day will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 9-12. Please, no tires or large appliances such as stoves or refrigerators.
